Whether you’re new to the art, seeking advancement, or no longer in contact with your former instructor or lineage, ICAJF is here to support your martial journey.
What is Sentou-ryu Aikijujutsu?
Sentou-ryu (戦闘流) translates to “Combat Style,” and is rooted in the pragmatic application of traditional Aikijujutsu for modern combative scenarios. Combining dynamic joint locks, throws, strikes, and tactical movement, Sentou-ryu is a complete martial system designed for effectiveness, adaptability, and discipline.
Training Includes:
崩し (Kuzushi) – Balance breaking
当て身 (Atemi) – Striking techniques
投げ技 (Nage Waza) – Throwing techniques
関節技 (Kansetsu Waza) – Joint locking techniques
寝技 (Ne Waza) – Ground control and grappling
短刀 & 木剣 (Tanto & Bokken) – Knife and wooden sword defense
実戦型護身術 (Jissen-gata Goshinjutsu) – Scenario-based self-defense
級 & 段の型・乱取り (Kyu & Dan no Kata / Randori) – Kata and sparring at kyu and dan levels
